“渡船四周的河水齐着船沿，汹涌地向前流去，水流穿过沿河稻田中停滞的水面，河水与稻田里的静水不相混淆。河水从洞里萨、柬埔寨森林顺流而下，水流所至，不论遇到什么都被卷去。不论遇到什么，都让它冲走了，茅屋，丛林，熄灭的火烧余烬，死鸟，死狗，淹死在水里的虎、水牛，溺水的人，捕鱼的饵料，长满风信子的泥丘，都被大水裹挟而去，冲向太平洋，连流动的时间也没有，一切都被深不可测、令人昏眩的旋转激流卷走了，但一切仍浮在河流冲力的表面。”

“I bought a copyof L’amant during my trip inVietnam. In Vietnamese, I recited 22 paragraphs of it.  All of these paragraphs describe thelandscapes of Hu Chin Minh. Then, I invited a Vietnamese to do 22 pieces ofdrawings according to the record of my recital.”

关于艺术家

About the artist

石玩玩，基于概念实践的艺术家。毕业于中央美术学院雕塑系，获得硕士学位。作品曾展出于当代唐人艺术中心、A4当代艺术中心、尤伦斯当代艺术中心、中央美术学院美术馆、南京艺术学院美术馆、泰康空间、长征艺术中心、今日美术馆、证大美术馆等。目前生活和工作于苏州和杭州。

Shi wanwan is a concept artist whowas Graduated from Plastic Art Major of Central Academy of Fine Arts with aMaster of Fine Arts degree. The works have been exhibited at Tang ContemporaryArt、A4Contemporary Arts Center、Ullens Center for ContemporaryArt、CAFA Art Museum、Art Museumof Nanjing University of the Arts、Taikang Space、Long March Space、Today Art Museum、Shanghai Zhengdai Museum of Modern Art. Now，heis living and working in Suzhou and Hangzhou.
