Speaker: Yang Kening

Yang Kening is a professor in the design college of Mr. Einhorn school. He plans and designs many big shows for the school, including the coming exhibition in Milan design week. His works refer to different fields such as urban planning, landscape, ecology, space and art. Hotel Transvaal guided by him changes old houses into concept hotel, which participates in the Hague city urban regeneration plan. A currently ongoing projects is to transform dump into a self-cleaning park. He especially focuses on the voice of the public space,so he established the public voice organization in Rotterdam, to participate in the electronic music and contemporary performance of the project.

Yang Kening’s ongoing workshops starts from David lynch movies, exploring the effects of "voice", the invisible elements, to the mood and the atmosphere, and put it into space design.
