The abstract:

  In the earlier period,we introduce the history and development process of the National Archaeological Museum of Naples. At the same time, we also introduced some experience and views of the aurthor..In this article,we will introduce and analyse mosaics and through the museum collections. And then will also provide you the collection of “penetralium”.

  1, mosaicIn the Pompeii ruins, unearthed a large number of mosaics. Using the colorful stones to form the pattern or a picture. These small colored stones need to carefully polished and formed a close Affirmative shape in collage before, and then use them. When the Romans generally have a "Greek" plot, it is because of this plot, they copy a large number of Greek sculpture, painting, and of course the mosaic. Although the Greek original many have not survived, but Rome more copies but we show high civilization at that time.

For example, in the two layer of mosaic art exhibition hall, a huge "Alexander mosaic" is the first Century BC a Pompeii customer custom works (Figure 17).    In addition to the large-scale war scenes of the mosaics, there are many small mosaics which is relevant to life.It is not difficult to see that the artists’ attention to daily life and daily affairs greatly increased. Of course,the paintings are inseparable from the subscribers’interest .

   In addition, we can also see a lot of mosaics which describe the animals in the exhibition hall. Although the style is slightly different, the skill of mosaic art is evident.the muralThe advocation the  ancient Romans for the Greek civilization is reflected in the painting, Pompei people like reproducing the painting in private residential or on the wall of public facilities .the famous Pompeii murals have four kinds of style:,First: mosaic styleSecond: architectural styleThird: decorative styleFourth: fantasy style the chamber of SecretsThere is a chamber of Secrets in the two layer of the museum.the secret is relevant to the "special cultural relics".Thus, this paper is coming to an end, but  too many contents still can not be reflected. The Pompeii itself is a specimen in the history,it leaves us the description of colorful resource and  human civilization.
